Magical Side-Effects of Zibelthiurdos
What is lofty can be lowered, only to rise again.
1. High Ground: Unless the cleric is located above his target this round, the spell will fail to work. What is more, there's a 25% chance of him having to decide between triggering a divine test or having the spell be lost too.
1. High Ground: Unless the cleric is located above his target this round, the spell will fail to work. What is more, there's a 25% chance of him having to decide between triggering a divine test or having the spell be lost too.
2. Rumbling: The great resounding of Zibelthiurdos can be heard. Unless the spell is being specifically used to further one of his tenets, it will only work at 50% its usual power. In such cases, the rumble will be one of disapproval, with a 25% chance of actually triggering a divine test if the spell is also not lost.
3. Fleet: Movement is required like the eagle wind or mighty steed. If the cleric has moved within the last 1d3 rounds, then the spell works normally. If not, then it takes 1d3 extra turns to occur.
4. Day Break: If cast in view of the open sky, all within 120' gain a +1 bonus to hit and damage those who are underwordly or chaotic for 1d3 rounds. If not, then there is no additional effect.
5-8. Standard Spell: The magic occurs without side-effect this time.
9. Fertilizing of Iambadoule: Rain falls, impregnating the land. If such is occurring or if the cleric does similar to a fitting woman within the next 1d3 turns, then the spell's effect, range, or duration is increased by 50%. If not, then the opposite occurs.
10-11. Sky Father: Whether located higher, specifically following one of Zibelthiurdos' tenets, having moved, or fertilizing a mate, the cleric can gain a 50% bonus to his spell's effect, range, or duration, 100% if two or more occur.
12. Blessing of Zibelthiurdos: The magic is doubled in effect, range, or duration, and it is not expended so it can be cast again that day. What is more, if meant to be helpful, the spell's recipient gains a +1 bonus to hit and damage rolls when acting according to Zibelthiurdos' tenets for the next 1d6 turns.
